Congratulations Expressions
FFCC Championships was a great success with a top ten finish. Expressions would like to thank all the parents who helped out, Judy Bogardus, Mrs. Holland, and Judy Bogardus's mother for making our flags. Another big thank you to Amanda Brown for coming aboard and becoming our flag and weapons tech. We look forward to working with you next year. Try outs are right around the corner and look forward to a new year to continue our success!!
Wanted!
Photos for the 2008 Dazzler Memories Video! We are looking for photos of: UDA, band camp, Practice, football games, getting ready, awards, casual friends in groups (while Dazzling please), action shots at competition, chaperones and parents, seniors, ensembles and solos, ect. Although this is the age of digital, we need an actual photo on photo paper please. We promise all copies will be returned if a name or initials is on the back. Put them in an envelope or baggy and send them in as soon as possible to Mrs. Maguire! This is the DVD shown at the Banquet. It is also available to purchase and seniors get a free copy!
Monthly units have stopped as of April. You should have received your April billing statement which showed only a $10 charge for MA concession food and any previously unpaid balances/credits. The last statement for this year will be printed on May 1st, again only showing outstanding balances/credits. No statements are printed over the summer. Billing will resume September 1st. If you have any questions concerning any account issues, please contact Karen Beaumont. (407) 221-3949.
DAZZLER AND EXPRESSION SENIORS AND NON-RETURNING MEMBERS: The deadline to pay accounts is May 15th. Graduation could be hindered as ALL account balances will be forwarded to the office. Thank You!
END OF THE YEAR RESPONSIBILITIES
Now is the time for ALL items which were issued to each student at the beginning of the year in their buckets to be returned. There are guidelines in order for this procedure to go smoothly.
First, please follow the schedule below so buckets are returned in small numbers versus the onslaught of 96 buckets at once. The schedule is for Dazzlers AND Expressions.
Second, all items issued to you as well as things you have borrowed throughout the year must be returned now. Easiest way is to put everything in the bucket. Be sure your name is on outside of bucket. If label fell off, make a new one so I can easily identify your things.
Third, I am aware items have been shared, left at friends houses, in their cars, and just about any where else they have been worn outside of school. PLEASE return them in your bucket; I have all the numbers and will track them instead of you trying to remember who those four pair of sweat pants belong to.
Fourth, if by chance you locate things you failed to turn in last year or even before that, do so now, and the charges incurred on your account will be reversed. Remember, we want the items back, not your parent’s money. Also, if you turn your bucket in by the due date and locate a scrunchie or other item later, put it in a bag with your name on it so we can credit you.
Seniors must have a zero balance in order to graduate. Do everything in your power to FIND YOUR STUFF!!
Lastly, your items were clean when you received them and we expect to have them returned in the same condition. Please wash and DRY items before placing them in bucket. Wet items will mildew, so plan ahead. Travel suits do not go in dryer; line dry only.
SCHEDULE:
Seniors - no later than April 21
Juniors - no later than April 25
Sophomores - no later than April 28
Freshman - no later than May 2
Thank You!

AN EARLY REMINDER
If you want to get the ball rolling early, the Pepsi 400 is our first fundraising opportunity for the 2008/2009 school year. The dates are July 3rd, 4th and 5th. Please let Bev Perkins know if you would like to work any of these dates. (407) 923-3802
REVUE SHOW AT SEMINOLE HIGH SCHOOL
Believe it or not, this year is coming to a close. The final performance of the year is our annual Revue Show. This is a wonderful showcase of all the numbers and is quite an elaborate production. As with all great shows there are many things which need to happen prior to, during, and after the performance, with most of it behind the scenes. We realize everyone wants to watch their children, and you WILL, however the show cannot go on without the assistance of our parents.
At this time I am asking for volunteers to assist with the preparations, and most importantly, as back stage helpers. Tickets will go on sale in the next few weeks, however you will not need to purchase a ticket for yourself if you are backstage. Reason... you will be able to see all your child’s performances from the aisles in the auditorium. You will fulfill your duties up to the time a dance is being performed. Once the number is complete, you will return to your position backstage.
We need at least 30 people to pull this off. I am asking for volunteers to call or email me so I can fill all the positions by May 15th. Help is needed on May 30th at the Dress Rehearsal between the hours of 2 and 7 and of course on May 31st for the show. Senior parents are exempt as this is their last hurrah. With that in mind, I hope underclassman parents will step up to the plate and allow them to enjoy this memorable event, especially since this is the inaugural show in our brand new PERFORMING ARTS CENTER.
As always, thanks in advance for your help.
